I’m Back

posted in Book Status |

Today I received a glimmer of hope that all is not lost. The publisher has expressed a genuine interest in participating in the difficult legal matters that lie before me. I have to look out for myself, of course, but I was relieved to detect sincerity in my editor’s voice as she expressed a desire to make this project happen. Not wanting to waste another moment, I rushed home from work and set forth editing the manuscript.

I subscribe to Yahoo! LaunchCast, an Internet radio service that streams music based upon my taste. While writing and listening, I came across an issue in the manuscript, which required reference to my research. At this very moment, it occurred to me that Launch was streaming Rossini’s Finale From the ‘William Tell’ Overture (that lovely, triumphant track made famous by the Lone Ranger).

I couldn’t help but smile.

I’m back, baby. I’m back.
