After three years of work, I am proud and excited to announce the forthcoming book, Worlds Greatest Toys: Mego 8” Super-Heroes.
A labor of love, this obsessive examination features thousands of photos of loose and packaged Megos, as well as the most comprehensive checklist — ever — of all known packaging variations.
Through first hand interviews, secondary sources and painstaking persistence, the book tells the story of a fascinating company and their wonderful toys.
Presented in chronological order (1972-1983), the book is an historical documentation of the toys we loved as children, and avidly collect today.
I will post regular updates in the Book Blog. Also, there are Sample Pages available, which I plan to sporadically update. The Official Forum for the book is graciously hosted by MegoMuseum.com. Updates will be posted regularly.
